Caring in the Community

Chef Jorge Rodriguez brings both a dedication to creating great food and a tremendous passion for the people he serves. Outside the cafeteria, Chef shares his time with the school district, helping as a translator for communications and serving as Coach Rodriguez for the middle school football team.

Making the Right Choice, Easy

Thanks to Chef’s leadership, students enjoy exploring mood-boosting foods, learning about fresh produce through the Grow Towers he started at each location, and voting for their favorite menu items through Student Choice sampling events.

Catering to Business

Beyond serving over 1,900 meals each day and bringing Chartwells’ signature nutrition education programs to students of all ages, Chef Jorge continues to drive growth in the catering business as school administrators keep coming back for more!
